About the Orphanage

Mount Carmel Orphanage is run by Pastor Geordany and his wife Nerlande.

Pastor Geordany has been a pastor for over 50 years. In 1985 He and his now deceased wife came upon a young girl who was dying of starvation. Their hearts grieved for this young girl, so they took her in, had her medical needs met and fed her. She grew and married a young man from his church.

Pastor Geordany bought land upon which he built a home. Since then, the home has been turned into an orphanage which has grown, accommodating over 40 children. They look up to him as a father. He takes care of all their needs from food, medical, educational, as well as sharing the love of God,
